Purpose

Why weexist

A devotee marriage is not an ordinary marriage. It is the coming together of two people who aspire to build a household in which Dharma, Bhakti, Seva and spiritual practice can flourish. The questions that matter therefore go beyond profession, income or a conventional horoscope: Can two people support one another’s sadhana? Can they share the values, practices and responsibilities of a Vaishnava household? Can they grow together through the different stages of married life?

Vivaha Dharma exists to create a trusted matrimonial space designed around these deeper realities. We want devotees and their families to have access to meaningful profiles, traditional compatibility tools and human guidance—without reducing marriage to a marketplace.

Vision

What we arebuilding

Our vision is a Vaishnava matrimonial community without borders: a trusted space where devotees from Maharashtra, across Bharat (India), and around the world can discover one another and explore the possibility of building a life together in Dharma.

We aspire to become not the largest matrimonial service, but one that families can trust—where devotion, character, compatibility and community matter more than status or income, and where every devotee is treated with dignity.

Mission

How weserve

Vivaha Dharma brings together community, traditional knowledge and personal guidance into one integrated matrimonial journey. Our aim is to support a devotee not only in finding a prospective spouse, but also in understanding compatibility and preparing for a harmonious married life.

  • A community without borders

Open access to hundreds of devotee boys (Var) and girls (Vadhu) from Maharashtra, across Bharat (India), and from the global Vaishnava community.

  • Free Guna Milan

Provide free Ashtakoot Guna Milan matching as one traditional tool for understanding compatibility.

  • A one-stop sacred marriage journey

Bring together traditional astrological path-reading, Astro-Psychology for bride and groom, Muhurta and Prashna Kundali consultation, Purohit support for Vivaha Samskara, pre-marital and post-marital counselling, and traditional Vastu Shastra guidance for creating a harmonious home.

  • Human trust

Profiles should be approached with care and community responsibility rather than treated as anonymous listings.

  • Community, not marketplace

The platform is intended to serve devotees rather than operate as a broker-driven marriage marketplace.

Our core promise

We do not simply help two people meet. We help them prepare to walk a shared path of Dharma, Bhakti and Seva.

The founders

Who is behindVivaha Dharma

Vivaha Dharma is the work of two devotees whose journeys bring together decades of direct service, spiritual study, marriage experience, Jyotisha, counselling and traditional knowledge.

Co-founder · Purohit · Counselor

His GraceRohinikumar Das

Born into a devoted Brahmin family and practising Vaishnavism for more than forty years, His Grace Rohinikumar Das has spent four decades serving as a Purohit, performing marriages and the sixteen Samskaras and conducting the Yajnas that mark the life of a devotee household.

He was among those who helped build the temple and Vaishnava community at ISKCON Nigdi, where he serves as a leadership counselor. Over the years, he has guided and counselled thousands of devotees through their spiritual lives.

He has translated more than eighty books from Sanskrit into Marathi, including Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Sri Isopanisad and the Garuda Purana, with attention to shastric accord, and is currently working on a multi-volume Ramayana.

Having stood at the mandapa for hundreds of devotee marriages and counselled couples before and after their weddings, his experience brings a practical, lived understanding of the responsibilities and sacredness of household life.

Co-founder · Jyotishi · Counselor · Vedic Student

Madhu Gauranga Das

His spiritual journey began at the age of seventeen, when a deep inner calling led him to explore the fundamental questions of existence. His search first led him toward the Madhva Sampradaya and later to ISKCON and the path of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.

His study of Jyotisha began through another fundamental question about life and its course. He learned Jyotisha through the traditional Parashara Parampara and holds the title Hora Bhushan. His studies include Parashari Jyotisha, Phala Jyotisha and Astro-Psychology, with a particular interest in using traditional knowledge thoughtfully alongside counselling and self-understanding.

He is a Jyotisha and Vastu consultant and has been involved in counselling individuals and couples for approximately fifteen years on matters including marriage, relationships, compatibility and separation or divorce. His consultations include Muhurta, Prashna Kundali and traditional Vastu Shastra.

Alongside Jyotisha and Vastu, he continues to study Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and other areas of Vedic knowledge, including Nyaya Shastra, Rasayana Shastra and Ayurveda. He also has a diploma in sound engineering and maintains an interest in Go-seva.

The Ashtakoot Guna Milan used on Vivaha Dharma is based on the traditional method in which he was trained, rather than being added merely as a modern matrimonial feature.

What makes us different

Why familieschoose us

  • Dharma before status

We place spiritual values, character, sadhana and compatibility at the heart of the matrimonial journey.

  • Traditional knowledge with human guidance

Jyotisha, Guna Milan, Muhurta, Vastu and counselling are complementary tools, not substitutes for thoughtful human judgment.

  • Before and after the wedding

The journey does not end when a match is found; pre-marital preparation, Vivaha Samskara and post-marital counselling can all be part of the same ecosystem.

  • For Vaishnavas across communities

The platform is intended to welcome devotees across Vaishnava traditions while respecting each community’s practices and identity.

Where we stand

Independent,and serving everyone

Vivaha Dharma is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of ISKCON, the Gaudiya Math, or any other temple, math or society. Where a founder’s personal service or experience is described, that refers to the founder’s own service and is not a claim made on behalf of those institutions.

We seek to serve devotees of every Vaishnava Sampradaya with equal respect—including Sri, Brahma-Madhva, Rudra, Nimbarka and Gaudiya traditions—and welcome sincere seekers and families who value a Dharmic approach to marriage.

Our guiding thought

Marriage is not merely the beginning of a household. It can become a shared journey in Dharma, Bhakti, Seva and spiritual growth.

The Samskara journey

From Garbhadhanato Grihastha life

Vivaha Dharma goes beyond helping two devotees find one another. We aspire to support the sacred journey of a Vaishnava family through the Samskaras that accompany the different stages of life.

Garbhadhana Samskara

Garbhadhana Samskara marks the sacred intention surrounding conception, traditionally accompanied by prayers and spiritual preparation for welcoming a virtuous child. It may be understood as the science and sacred preparation of begetting a Divya Atma — a soul with a purpose — while recognising that the outcome of life remains in the hands of the Divine.

Muhurta & Samskara Guidance. As part of the wider family journey, Vivaha Dharma seeks to provide traditional Muhurta guidance for important Samskaras, including:

  • Garbhadhana
  • Pumsavana
  • Simantonnayana
  • Jatakarma
  • Namakarana
  • Nishkramana
  • Annaprashana
  • Chudakarana / Mundan
  • Karnavedha
  • Vidyarambha
  • Upanayana / Yagyopaveet
  • Vedarambha
  • Keshanta / Samavartana
  • Vivaha
  • Vanaprastha

From finding a life partner to welcoming the next generation, Vivaha Dharma seeks to help families honour the sacred Samskara tradition at every important milestone of life.

From Vivaha to Garbhadhana, from the birth of a child to the journey of spiritual maturity — a family guided by Samskara, Dharma and Bhakti.
