Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 4 September 2026

What is refundable, what is not, and how long it takes. Written plainly, because a refund policy that needs interpreting is not really a policy.

1.Membership — the first seven days

If you change your mind within seven days of paying for membership, write to us and we will refund it in full, provided you have not sent an interest to any devotee in that time.

Sending an interest is the point at which membership has done the thing it exists to do, so it ends the cooling-off period. Browsing does not.

2.Membership — after seven days

Membership is not refundable after seven days, and it is not refunded pro-rata if you stop using it or delete your profile before the year is out. You keep access for the term you paid for.

Two exceptions, where we will refund the unused part of the term:

  • We end your membership for a reason that is not a breach of our Terms of Use
  • We withdraw the service, or a substantial part of what you paid for, before your term ends

If we end your membership because you breached the Terms — harassment, misrepresentation, acting as a broker — no refund is due.

3.Jyotish consultations and counselling

These are booked for a particular time, so:

  • Cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment: refunded in full
  • Cancel within 24 hours: not refunded, because the time was held for you and could not be offered to anyone else
  • Do not attend, without cancelling: not refunded
  • We cancel or cannot attend: refunded in full, or rescheduled if you prefer

You may reschedule once, without charge, if you ask more than 24 hours ahead.

A consultation is not refundable because you disagreed with what was said. These are traditional readings given in good faith, not products with a promised outcome.

4.Payments that went wrong

If you were charged twice for the same thing, or money left your account for a payment that did not complete, tell us and we will return it in full. You do not need to give a reason and no time limit applies.

Sometimes a payment fails at the bank while the amount is still debited. That usually reverses itself within five to seven working days without anyone doing anything. If it has not, write to us with the date and amount and we will chase it.

5.How to ask for a refund

Write to our Grievance Officer at the address below, from the email address on your account, telling us what you paid for and when. The invoice number helps — you can find it under Invoices on your account.

We will acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within seven working days.

6.How a refund reaches you

Refunds go back the way the money came, to the same card, account or UPI ID. We cannot send a refund to a different account.

Once we approve it, Razorpay typically takes five to seven working days to place the money back with your bank. That last part is in your bank's hands, not ours.

Where GST was charged, it is refunded with the rest, and we issue a credit note against the original invoice.

7.If you are not satisfied

Write to the Grievance Officer below. If we still cannot resolve it, you keep every right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — nothing in this policy takes those away.
